HIV/AIDS
HIV is a viral STI/STD and is not curable. HIV can be transmitted through anal and oral sex. It can also be transmitted through direct contact with someone else's blood. HIV stands for Human Immunodefinciency Virus and it attacks the T-cells of your immune system. T-cells are the cells that recognize what shouldn't be in your body and alerts your B-cells to attack it. The only way to know if you have HIV is if you are diagosed or if you develop AIDS which is when your T-cells count becomes lower than 400. You may also know if you become sick very often. There are medications that may prolong your life and prevent your T-cells from getting too low too fast. HIV will most likely indefinitely result in AIDS or death.
