HPV
HPV is a viral STI/STD and is not curable. HPV can be transmitted through anal, vaginal, and oral sex. It can also be transmitted through gental-to-genital contact. HPV or Human Papillomavirus is not the same as herpes or HIV because it has different symptoms and causes different health problems. This STI can cause genital warts, warts in the throat, and cancer in the cervix, vulva, vagina, penis, anus, cancer in the back of the throat which includes the back of the tongue and the tounsels. There is no treatment for HPV but the warts can be treated by medication and cerical cancer can be treated. If a women follows routine pap smears then cervical cancer can be prevented.
